Over the last few years, local schools in the Edinburgh area have supported us through the Harvest Festival collection, whereby pupils and staff donate non-perishable food items to our food bank. This is a crucial stock raising event that prepares us for the difficult holiday season.
We would like to ask if your school could consider donating to us this year.
We are constantly in need of additional supplies to stock the food bank warehouse and would be very grateful if your school would be able to support us this year. We would be happy to come to your school and give a short presentation about how the food bank works and how the donated food makes a difference in your local community.
Corporate volunteers are helping with the collection of donations; we, therefore, have planned dates when food will be collected. These are:

Friday, 18th of October
Friday, 25th of October
Friday, 1st of November
